Meet the Midwife
Hi there! I’m Anika Johnson, Certified Nurse Midwife, and the proud mother of eight amazing children. My passion for midwifery is deeply rooted in both my professional training and my personal experiences as a mother.
After earning my Master’s degree in Midwifery from Georgetown University more than 20 years ago, I began what has become a truly rewarding journey of caring for women and families during some of the most meaningful moments of their lives. Over the years, I have had the privilege of attending births and performing male infant circumcisions in communities around the world. Each family I serve continues to teach me something new about midwifery, family, and love.
When I’m not working, you can usually find me traveling, volunteering, enjoying nature, practicing self-care, or spending quality time with family and friends. These experiences help keep me grounded and remind me of the importance of connection, balance, and community.
I believe that every pregnancy, birth, and family story is unique. My goal is to provide safe, compassionate, personalized care that helps you feel supported, heard, and empowered every step of the way.
I look forward to getting to know you and hearing your story.
Until then, peace and blessings,
Anika Johnson, CNM
